Restituto Q. Luz
My name is Restituto Q. Luz, 77 years of age and a retired CFI judge of San Pablo and Calamba, Laguna. After I fell from my bed, my son rushed me to the UST Hospital. Through a series of X rays, it became evident that I fractured the femoral head of my left thigh. My orthopedic surgeon performed a partial hip replacement on my left hip. After the operation it was very painful and even when the wound already healed, there was still pain inside the wound. My doctor explained to me that the wound inside takes a longer time to heal than the cut which is seen on my skin. I was fortunate to have known Sir Roland Villas. He became my rehab therapist. He was very patient and thorough in helping me perform the right kind of exercise. With the combination of gentle understanding and discipline, Roland in no time succeeded in helping me regain my ability to walk. Now my son even scolds me because at times I forget to ask for any assistance to go to the comfort room or to go downstairs. He fears for my safety. On my part, I appreciate the capability and confidence I regained after my sessions with Roland. Roland has my full gratitude and trust. As a matter of fact, I even recommended his services to some of my friends.
